Maintenance Fitters Large Plant & Equipment

Our client is a large equipment management company, a mining industry icon, and part of our group of companies and has operations across Australia. They are experiencing substantial growth and require the following:

Fitters - Plant & Equipment.

These positions will be initially temporary, but with great potential to go permanent for successful Candidates after a qualifying period.

The roles will involve working on mining and heavy earth moving equipment.

You will be required to have experience working on mining and/or heavy earth moving machinery, including engine rebuilding, transmissions, component change-outs, and complete overhauls.

Roles are available for the following sites for immediate commencement:

Newcastle - Hunter Valley & Gosford - Central Coast

To be considered for these opportunities you would require:

• An Australian Recognised Trade Certificate in Fitter/Machinist Plant Mechanics (Mobile Plant) or Diesel Fitting, Heavy Duty (Mobile Plant) Fitting or similar;
• Previous experience working on mining mobile plant.
• Value safety as a priority in the workplace;
• Checkable references and eligibility to work in Australia.
• Drug and Alcohol free approach to your work with testing mandatory.
